1. Who We Are

HoopVision (the "App") is made by Adrian Hys. Contact: [email protected]

2. The Short Version

Your training data and your videos stay on your phone. We do not have a server that receives them, we do not sell data, we do not show ads and we do not use analytics or tracking tools. The only data that leaves your phone is what is needed for your account and your subscription, described below.

3. Data Kept Only on Your Phone

• What you enter in the App: your name, height, weight, position and strengths.
• Your sessions: every shot (made or missed, the time, where on the court), your statistics, card, badges, statuses, workouts, games and league results.
• Your settings.
• Session recordings and highlight clips, if "Record sessions" is on.

This data is stored in the App's storage on your phone. We cannot see it. It is removed when you delete your account or the App. If your phone is backed up to iCloud, it may be part of that backup, under Apple's rules.

4. Camera, Microphone and Photos

• Camera: the picture is analysed on your phone, as it comes in, to find the ball, the rim and your shots. It is not sent anywhere.
• Microphone: used only to record the sound of your session videos, when "Record sessions" is on. You can say no; videos will then have no sound.
• Photos: the App only asks to add videos you choose to save. It does not read your photo library.
• Notifications: if you allow them, the reminders (your streak, the daily challenge, the league) are planned and shown by the App on your phone, from the data on your phone. Nothing is sent to us or to a server to make them. You can turn them off in Settings.

You can change these permissions at any time in your iPhone Settings.

5. Your Account

To create an account we use Clerk (clerk.com), which stores your email address, your name if you give it, and how you sign in (email and password, Apple or Google). Clerk keeps this data to let you sign in. It is not used for advertising.

6. Subscriptions

Payments are made through Apple; we never see your card details. To know whether you have an active subscription, the App uses RevenueCat (revenuecat.com), which receives your purchase details from Apple and an anonymous ID for your app. It does not receive your training data or videos.

7. App Updates

The App checks for updates from Expo (expo.dev). This request contains technical details such as the app version and your device's IP address, needed to deliver the update.

8. Sharing

We share data only with the services named above, to run the App, and when the law requires it. We do not sell your data.

9. Keeping and Deleting Data

Your account stays until you delete it. You can delete it in Settings → Delete account; this deletes your account at Clerk and removes your training data, settings and videos from the App on your phone (videos you saved to Photos stay there). Deleting the App also removes the data on your phone. Purchase records are kept by Apple and RevenueCat as the law requires.

10. Your Rights

If you live in the EU, the UK or another place with similar laws, you can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, or object to how it is used, by writing to [email protected]. You can also complain to your data protection authority (in Poland: the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, UODO).

11. Children

The App is not meant for children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes

We may update this policy. If the changes are important, we will tell you in the App.

The same text is in the app: Settings → About.
